Patch for usr.sbin/mlx5tool/mlx5tool.8 restoring the original wording for the
-e flag

While here or in another bug, I'd suggest light copy-editing of the 2 lines
above to:

far, or any existing dump cleared with the

Other than that, change makes sense at a glance.
