            Bug ID: 263619
Summary: Handbook/Serial comms: A serial terminal is a DTE, not
                    a DCE.
           Product: Documentation
           Version: Latest
          Hardware: Any
               URL: https://github.com/freebsd/freebsd-doc/pull/67#issueco
                    mment-1100807553,
                    https://docs.freebsd.org/en/books/handbook/serialcomms
                    /#serial
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Some People
          Priority: ---
         Component: Documentation
          Assignee: doc@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: pauamma@gundo.com
            Blocks: 263315

Pasted from my review comment there:

I'd mention a serial terminal isn't a DCE. It's another DTE, and connecting 2
DTEs requires a null-modem cable, as explained in "27.2.1. Serial Cables and
Ports".
