I am closing this bug because jbeich@ explained in January 2023 that this is a
known ports framework limitation -- ports cannot enforce dependency build
options. The undefined symbol from gstreamer1-plugins-gl (WAYLAND=on) may not
even affect the reported application since it does not use MediaFile. GTK4 has
been updated many times since, and there has been no activity for over 3 years.
