I am closing this because it was filed over 5 years ago by a single reporter
with no response from anyone. Avahi browsing depends on many local
configuration factors (firewall rules, multicast routing, interface
configuration) and the report provides insufficient detail to diagnose. The
reporter noted that mDNS resolution works fine, suggesting a browsing-specific
configuration issue rather than a port bug.
