I think I have something coming up where we have:

libxml2-core (that's the library port)
libxml2 (that's the docs port)
libxml2-python (that's the python port, to be deprecated and expired, but needs
one or two consumers to be cleaned up)
and the GNOME Uses framework points to libxml2-core as BUILD_ and LIB_DEPENDS,
and libxml as RUN_DEPENDS.
