    Hi  ,

  OpenSolaris / Illumos    had/has   a network connection switching 
tool   for  laptops  in place  15  years   ago.

             As   OpenSolaris  was  made Opensource.    the  tool 
should  be  possibible  to  adapt to FreeBSD.
