Thanks for that Christos. I can confirm that most of those issues (if not all) I am also experiencing. I use poudriere for all my stuff so the graphics part hasn't been as painful, but many months ago before I knew that you had to build from ports, it definitely threw me off and I left FreeBSD for a few months since I thought it was dead. It was only about 1-2 months ago that someone messaged me saying it was actually good.
