You're correct and this is the intended way to start ConsoleKit. On my machines
I use both SDDM and startx methods to launch a graphical session and these both
methods rely on the D-Bus autoactivation feature.

Regarding D-Bus daemon itself, I was pointed to ArchLinux, which starts it with
--nofork option. I wonder if we should do the same and instead rely on our
daemon(8) to daemonize it.
