Frameworks FreeBSD git repo? Is FreeBSD involved at all?

Howdy! I've been lurking, missed this last desktop meeting and hope to 
be on the call for the next month.

I'm a Frame.Work 16 user; eyes too bad and I'm too old for a 13 haha.

I've read a few of the recent stuff Alice has sent out as others, but I 
also discovered this Git Repo via Frame.Work themselves.

I imagine for the laptops certified (13 then 16) a generalized playbook 
or "package bundle" would install the general stuff to make it useful 
for a desktop?

Are some of the Frame.Work / FreeBSD groups collaborating together at 
all there? Just curious.

To reemphasize what others have said. It's smart to pick a few flagship 
laptops to get support worked out solid.

It's how Apple Mac dominated well with OSX. Early before Linux was 
stable on laptops, I was running Solaris x86 due to better support with 
HP and IBM laptops. You pick a few good boxes, and more will grow with 
the adoption of the O/S or not haha.

I do believe if FreeBSD could get a solid support for a few key laptop 
players, it would help it's adoption and exposure a great deal more. 
Frame.Work is just an ideal prime candidate, as it's modular and 
philosophy matches BSD/UNIX very well not to mention OpenSource.

Being a *NIX it is more true to it than Linux is, those interested in 
using FreeBSD wouldn't mind a few solid options and a more "at your own 
risk" for outside of it. Similar to how Solaris managed it's HCL in the 
86 days.

And those who get curious may write more code to adopt more hardware.
