The Gnome master site for libxslt points out: "v1.1.44: not yet released". (The
NEWS file located at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/libxslt/.)  I choose to
interpret this as a coy hint that 1.1.44 will appear at some point in the
future; your guess as to when is likely better than mine.  I'm filing this bug
to track that release when it appears.  It will be of interest to the people
working on bug #279705.
