Okay, I'm at a loss to understand the conflicting messages about what is or is
not supported upstream.  On my machines, DOZENS of packages depend on libxml2
and libxslt, and it's very hard for me to believe that someone, somewhere isn't
supporting these libraries upstream from us.  I'm willing to help get those
changes brought into our ecosystem, but I need advice about what is needed and
how to avoid stepping on anyone's toes.
