It is still usable on pre FreeBSD 15, and should be available until FreeBSD 14
EOL.

I have try "libinotify-kqueue" and it is work worse than this FAM:
- eat one core CPU to 100%
- thunar may hang with it
- loose notifications (requires manual F5 to refresh)
