I Think this kind of customizations should be left to the end
user/administator. Adding wrapper scripts like this make the default setup
complex, make it diverge strongly from upstream code and practice.

Also, who would be responsible for maintaining these wrapper scripts and fix
them in case they need updating?

We can't drop this responsibility on desktop@

ALso changing Xorg priority is not something the OS should enforce on users,
and definitely not something a display manager should do unilaterally, this
should at least be discussed with the Xorg maintainers and evaluated as a
policy for all the ports tree.

I really would not feel comfortable adding such opinionated custom scripts to
the port. I'm also not really able to give a reasonable security evaluation of
these scripts.

In the default port we need to try to be as neutral as possible.
