Nice! I'm taking a look a pkgsrc meson patch:

+atkbridge_enabled      = get_option('atk_bridge')
(...)

Tomorrow I will apply it.

Related to mans and docs, any sugestions if we should installed them with a
DOCS option?

MESON_ARGS+= -Dgtk_doc=true -Dman=true

as they are set to false by default.
