huh, never knew that, I always thought you had to set something like PORTDOCS
in make.conf for that implied behavior, and I have had ports that do not do
DOCS without having explicitly set it in the past, wonder if that changed at
some point over the years as being default.

at any rate, your commit today seemed to make thinks work ok in poudriere for
me with i386, now to see if wine will actually work or not when I get done with
that package building. so thanks for that! having or not having the docs is not
important, though maybe I should consider shutting them off in my poudriere to
save space with my i386 to save some time and space when all I'm doing is
building wine 32bit libs and would have them already with my host systems 64bit
versions apparently.

just still odd why parallel builds in amd64 host worked in ports but not with
i386 in poudriere, very strange.
