Hi,

It should also be mentionned that recovery isn't too hard in case one
does break their sysrc config. Knowing how to boot into single-user
mode (and potentially mounting root as r+w) should make one be able to
fix any /etc/rc.conf (or /etc/sysctl.conf) issue without much friction.

A more difficult situation would be a broken bootloader config; the best
thing you can do is to just avoid touching that file too much, but if
one does break it they need to boot into an external environment such as
a live USB or a local ZFS Snapshot. Not too hard either, but it is
quite annoying.
