The story is interesting indeed, since though  ee233742a569 was never MFCed to
stable/14, partial fix 1b4e11713153 was. But later, that fix was extended by
MFC of bef6d85b6de55 to stable/14, so perhaps this fix does require MFC to
stable/14 as well.
