My boot loader menu becomes corrupted after upgrading to the latest FreeBSD-current,
 as shown in the following image.

After reverting the 32da2f23ae4d18888d34682b0ddb49ec80c0bb26 commit,
the boot loader menu is printed normally. I'm doubting the commit relates to this issue.
