No, this server has been running 16-current for the last 5 months or so
this is the first time I've had any difficulty with it (was following
stabilisation week). But anyway, problem appears to be gone after
a clean build so maybe cruft was left over from previous (it was running
15-stable beforehand, but like I mentioned, a while ago).

Maybe make delete-old and delete-old-libs didn't pick up
and delete what was required the last few times? No idea.
