15.1-p2: pkg upgrade 2.8.2 -> 2.8.4: Segmentation fault

Hello,

On FreeBSD 15.1-p2 (pkg base installed) the upgrade of ports starts to fail with the attempt
to update pkg 2.8.2 -> 2.8.4 (using -latest repositories).

The same happens on a XigmaNAS installation, but here I suspected FBSD 14.3. The above
reported issue is a Vbox guest at work (I do not have any kind of influence on the VBox
installation).

Is this issue well known or is it a indicidual, special case? And how to circumvent?
