this is not the first time the things appear, disappear or change in fbsd with only dark secret back room discussions

i have been here since 4.6 and if i didn't read this, i would only know this unusual setup finally stopped working when network doesn't come up after reboot

yea yea yea, testing envs and everything. reading docs and changelogs. you still hate having sometning slipped in that derails everything for mere perf reasons that you missed
