We've been working on pkgbase for close to ten years.  All the work has
been done in public.  There's been a wiki page since 2016.  There have
been conference talks (many of them livestreamed and / or later posted
on YouTube), public code reviews, discussions on public mailing lists,
progress updates in the quarterly reports, etc.
