If you build the
Ventoy/Unix/ventoy_unix_src/FreeBS/geom_ventoy_src/13.x/sys/

on 14.0 and compress it with xz and place it in place in the 
ventoy/ventoy_unix.cpio archive it boots FreeBSD 14.0-RC2

Note that my ventoy iso partition is reformatted to fat32.

Without the rebuild I get
