Worked, thank you

I had to "install" the new temporary /etc/pam.d files with mergemaster. I think the problematic file was the "system" config file. Now its all fine

Remove dependencies from /etc/pam.d/ files. Use either etcupdate(7) or mergemaster(8) or do it by hand.
