Plus, unlike GPL, you don't need to make open-source what you modified.

This should be a killer who uses NDA'ed codes in conjunction with
BSD-licensed codes.
In these cases, you SHALL make open-source under GPL whole NDA'ed code
if you use GPL'ed codes. BSD-licensed codes does nothing harmful.
