The problem is not fixed for me.

I temporarily symlinked /var/lib/dbus/machine-id to /etc/machine-id but
downloads still fail.

My ~/.local/ is on (home/user) zfs dataset, download dir is
(home/user/Downloads) zfs dataset, /tmp is on tmpfs filesystem.

It worked for ages like this, now it doesn't.
