hope it helps. same linux version works fine helps nothing, but what I
mentioned before about the "downloads" link on the "chrome://about" page the
RESUME link works after closing the browser, launch Chromium again, since the
downloads are not anymore on the status bar, they still appear in
Chrome://about Downloads, then clicking the Resume link and it works, the
download completes ...
