Also, knowing the results for 15.1R and the latest snapshot would be nice. The
differences between them ar large.

I can't imagine the firmware not exposing the output if there's no monitor
attached. I can expect that it does something funky when we muck with graphics
that causes us to dereference a NULL pointer.
