Bug ID: 299116
Summary: reeBSD NFSv4.1 client should use WANT_DELEGATION if it
looses delegation due a SETATTR ACL/mode
Product: Base System
Version: 16.0-CURRENT
Hardware: Any
OS: Any
Status: New
Severity: Affects Many People
Priority: ---
Component: kern

FreeBSD NFSv4.1 client should use WANT_DELEGATION if it looses delegation due a
SETATTR ACL/mode.
Most of the time the FreeBSD NFSv4.1 client serving real-world applications do
NOT have a delegation because of this sequence:
1) request open file, request delegation
2) file is opened, delegation is granted
3) SETATTR for mode or ACL, which triggers the recall of the delegation by the
server
4) client writes data without delegation to the server
The expectation would be that (4) is done with a delegation.
