We just had a user in the GhostBSD support chat where we could solve this issue
by disabling the dedicated NVIDIA GeForce MX250 in the BIOS menu of his laptop.

The mode was changed from "Hybrid Graphics" to "UMA Graphics".

It seems as if the framebuffer is sent to an inactive device in some cases.
