* maybe      ignore comment 8
* definitely ignore comment 9 and comment 10. 

For 9 and 10, I definitely forgot to comment out a line in 
/boot/loader.conf:

kernel="kernel.GENERIC-NODEBUG"

(Installed packages include FreeBSD-kernel-generic-nodebug, this test machine
normally defaults to the nodebug kernel, so, no panic.)
