I've just tried a live USB of 15.1-STABLE (amd64-20260507 snapshot), and it
booted with SMP cleanly into the live shell environment, I was able to gently
load the system with openssl speed, etc. But the real test will be getting
network interfaces up and a graphical session stable.


Unfortunately the T400 is now running Debian (!), but I still have my 14.2
installation. I can try and bring it up to 15.0-RELEASE / 15.1-STABLE but I'll
need a few days (probably the weekend).
