OK, I see the difference is
CURVNET_SET(xprt->xp_socket->so_vnet);
sorele(xprt->xp_socket);
CURVNET_RESTORE();
Right now I'm running the previous patch and with
nooptions VIMAGE
suggested in comment #22. It has not crashed yet. After that test is done,
I'll try this latest patch.
But to be sure: should I enable VIMAGE or not here?
