OK, now I understand better why this is happening. Maybe we can reclassify this
from a bug report to a feature request, but I still think that by 2026, a tool
for merging changes in /etc should be able to merge such things automatically
and if manual intervention is required, then only once. Unfortunately, I still
feel like I spend more time on every upgrade using etcupdate than I did with
mergemaster.
