I am curious, is this still the case with the latest iLO/firmware and FreeBSD
15?

I ask because I had access to a DL325 Gen10 Plus v2 (similar generation,
smaller machine I presume?) and, with the iLO 3.16 and firmware 3.90 it doesn't
even get that far, after accepting the the default option at the bootloader, I
only saw a blank screen and the machine rebooted. OpenIndiana and OmniOS booted
fine, IIRC NetBSD as well, but I haven't tried OpenBSD. Linux had no issues, of
course, but that's a given.
