You are mistaken. POSIX2_LINE_MAX is not an upper limit on the length of lines
a utility may produce, it is a lower limit on the length of lines that a
utility that reads line-oriented input must accept. Thus, the output from
`stat -h` may not necessarily be processable by tools such as sed or awk, but
others (like grep) will have no issues with it.
