[Bug 289634] ACPI(4) not managing power on 16.0-CURRENT

It came out that the issue with freezing after closing the lid was
XFCE-related. 

Let's hope that these three reviews mentioned above will pave the path for new
enhancements, but no regression. Thank you, good luck!
