Thinking of/working on a solution in the meantime to add hw.acpi.suspend_st= ate back in a nice way. As for your panic cy@, this is a different issue. I'm supposed to be getting the ACPI softc but I'm getting the softc of the device we're calling acpi_wake_sleep_prep on.
