I guess setting
hw.vtnet.lro_disable=1
in /boot/loader.conf on a box intended for forwarding should fix the issue.
I agree, that we can close this issue, since the checksum issues in vtnet and
dhclient are fixed.
I would just like to understand if there is a generic problem and if that is
the case, this should be documented at least.
