If your VPC and subnet are already configured to automatically assign public
IPv4 and IPv6 addresses when launching a "base UFS" AMI, that same launch
configuration can be used for the "cloud-init UFS" AMI.

I can provide details on how I have configured my VPC and subnet for IPv6
support, if that would be helpful.
