from earlier this month (well before yesterday)?

It may take a a while to get an armv7 context set up.

I assume you are okay with testing based on a PkgBase
base_latest install (kernel and world) that was from
well after the above.

Since it is more than 1.75 yrs later, I'm not about
replicating various details of how I was testing
such back then. I may have to explore before
concluding much.
