Ahhh.  So that is my mistake.  Sorry did I mention I'm new here?

So who determines if this is a change that should be made?  It's not like
there's a POSIX standard for adducer.

At the end of the day adduser.sh is just a wrapper and if someone were to
incorrectly hit yes for password authentication when they meant no, they could
always hit ^C and exit and restart.

More interesting I think are the bugs listed in the man page for adduser...
