Can you point to public documentation for the 15-bit APIC ID field in MSI and
I/O APIC entries?

Also, FreeBSD's IOMMU drivers are able (AFAIK) to do interrupt remapping
without interposing on DMA in that the DMAR and AMD IOMMU drivers selectively
enable features of the respective IOMMUs.
