Tbh, I don't have the energy to hash out the same old points yet again.  Half a
decade spent doing that and nothing new is being said here.

You have the patch.  Use it or don't.  It's not up to me.  If it doesn't get
in, I still have my local ports.  I don't have the hat collection needed to
personally convince anyone with an email address ending in @freebsd.org.
