I compared with "the first two lines of comment 0" (not with the last command
there). The first line was: 

% xzgrep harfbuzz /var/log/messages.0.bz2

The unwritten backstory was a wish for something that seems to be impossible
with FreeBSD. I'll describe this elsewhere.
