A suggestion via mailing list to add the following to
/boot/device.hints:
hint.uart.0.disabled="1"
hint.uart.1.disabled="1"
hint.uart.2.disabled="1"
hint.uart.3.disabled="1"

Failed to change the condition. The boot still
fails in the same location.
