I am also not an expert on termcap, but was just aware of the commit to base. I
think termcap is more limited than terminfo, but I am not sure whether the
FreeBSD version has been extended while tic -C only outputs the common
features. I am also not sure whether one should refer to xterm-256color or copy
the capabilities.

Given the lack of discussion in this and the other bug, I suggest to create a
pull request on github and mention the other option. Then hopefully somebody
knowledgable will chime in.
