I'd be interested as well given the extra IFF_UP added but also given
wpa_supplicant was fixed in the past;  I wonder why this PR fell through the
cracks.

That said someone should finish the bsdconfig wifi bits and migrate them to the
installer which is so much more detailed from the looks.
