(In reply to Vinícius Zavam from comment #19)

funny fact here is that booting the installed OS only moves further when 14.0-R
is used (install media: 'FreeBSD-14.0-RELEASE-amd64-disc1.iso') - still using a
KVM guest [amd64].

though, we noticed that this installation media do not even offer the option to
enable/disable 'ACPI' via "boot options" on the beastie menu - this symptom
also shows up after the installation.

once we identified that, we tried to disable ACPI before booting a fresh
installed system after installing from
'FreeBSD-15.0-CURRENT-amd64-20240509-ce7756fdca1f-270021-disc1.iso'... but that
did not work either.

14.1-BETA1 and newer medias do have ACPI enable/disable option again, on the
boot options menu.

RECAP: the following installation medias were tested (as KVM guest):

  * FreeBSD-14.0-RELEASE-amd64-disc1.iso
  * FreeBSD-14.1-BETA1-amd64-disc1.iso
  * FreeBSD-14.1-BETA2-amd64-disc1.iso
  * FreeBSD-14.1-PRERELEASE-amd64-20240425-9857f824ec77-267512-disc1.iso
  * FreeBSD-14.1-PRERELEASE-amd64-20240503-19e335596658-267586-disc1.iso
  * FreeBSD-14.1-STABLE-amd64-20240509-7b65987885da-267634-disc1.iso
  * FreeBSD-15.0-CURRENT-amd64-20240425-78101d437a92-269695-disc1.iso
  * FreeBSD-15.0-CURRENT-amd64-20240502-b07689d1f2a2-269827-disc1.iso
  * FreeBSD-15.0-CURRENT-amd64-20240509-ce7756fdca1f-270021-disc1.iso
