            Bug ID: 277329
           Summary: SA-24:02.tty causes kernel panic
           Product: Base System
           Version: Unspecified
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Some People
          Priority: ---
         Component: kern
          Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: lhersch@dssgmbh.de

The error does not occur with the default /etc/ttys. However, I have set ttyv0
to off. Then you can provoke the crash in a stable way by calling sysctl -A
